In legal malpractice actions, our practice's versatility and breadth serves our clients well as most of those actions are "lawsuits within lawsuits," that is to say, the plaintiff cannot prevail unless it appears that "but for the attorney's malpractice," the underlying lawsuit or legal transaction would have had a better result. Consequently, in defending such cases, we must bring to bear knowledge and sophistication in the many contexts out of which such claims arise.

Lawyers are also sued for abuse of process, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy or liability in alleged fraudulent schemes, tax, corporate, insurance, and estate matters, as well as wrongful garnishment. The reach of our experience encompasses all of these claims.

In the realm of malpractice claims against architects and engineers, our involvement in the legal representation of owners/contractors and construction managers provides us with fluency and versatility in the applicable contract language governing professional standards, recurring issues in completed operations and construction defects, insurance coverage and the statutory regime that regulates and informs the design professional's involvement in the construction process.

In our dental malpractice defense work, we have handled claims involving wrongful death resulting from dental procedures, anesthesia, failure to treat periodontal disease, failed crown and bridge prosthesis, temporomandibular disorders (TMJ) and cosmetic problems.
